5304 Score: 85

Rationale:

Education has transcended the traditional teacher-centered model, placing a growing emphasis on collaborative learning experiences. Collaborative learning not only imparts essential teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills but also cultivates a supportive and dynamic learning environment. Participating in the Leading Organizational Change course and the Concepts of Educational Tech course through the Accelerated ADL option provided me with a profound understanding of the significance of collaborative approaches in the evolving educational landscape. Entering the Applied Digital Learning (ADL) realm, my primary apprehension revolved around my limited technology skills and the daunting task of constructing a website from scratch. The Accelerated ADL option became a gateway for me to comprehend the essence of an e-portfolio and its pivotal role in a technology-driven society. While expanding my e-portfolio I was able to gain the knowledge that I was able to reflect on my own learning journey. This semester I was able to take on ownership of my projects and dive into the different outcomes of my research. For me, each course gave me a new sense of leadership on my campus and also for my students.

Key Contributions:

1. Reflection on What is Working and What Can be Improved:

My reflective practices throughout the Leading Organizational Change and Concepts of Educational Tech courses demonstrated a thoughtful examination of my evolving role. I was able to go beyond surface-level analysis, delving into the nuances of successful strategies and pinpointing specific areas for improvement. This reflective process was not just a formality but a genuine effort to enhance my understanding and application of course concepts. I critically assessed my evolving role as a change leader and an educator integrating technology, acknowledging successful strategies and identifying areas for improvement.

2. Core Collaboration Group Contributions:

Within both courses, my participation in core discussion groups was active and constructive. I contributed meaningfully to group discussions, shared perspectives, and took on peer constructive feedback to ensure that innovation was towards my target audience. Our collaborative efforts were evident in the outcomes of group discussions, demonstrating my commitment to collective success. I took the initiative to foster an environment of open communication and effective teamwork.

3. Revised Assignments and Reflected on Revisions:

Assignments were not seen as one-time tasks but as iterative opportunities for improvement. I revisited and revised my work based on valuable feedback from peers and instructors. In both courses, I meticulously reviewed every assignment, incorporating feedback from both peers and instructors. Understanding the significance of continuous improvement, I seized these opportunities to contemplate my development as a learner and collaborator. Integrating the suggested revisions into my work was a tangible demonstration of my commitment to delivering impactful outcomes.

4. Completed ALL Course Readings, Videos, and Resources:

A comprehensive engagement with all assigned readings, videos, and supplementary resources was integral to my approach. This ensured a robust knowledge foundation, allowing me to contribute substantively to discussions and assignments. Beyond skimming through readings, I actively sought to extract meaningful insights and connections. Most of the resources given were easily accessible and we were provided with videos straight from our professors. This depth of engagement was reflected in my contributions to discussions and assignments.

5. Met Deadlines Indicated in the Calendar:

Punctuality was a priority, and I will say in 5302 and 5304 I was able to actively participate in our discussion post and consistently meet all deadlines outlined in the course calendar for assignments. This adherence to timelines facilitated a smooth workflow within collaborative post and feedback from my peers and demonstrated a commitment to the structure of the learning community. During both 5302 and 5304 I was able to meet most of the deadlines with the exception of being slightly behind on discussion post. However, I have made strides within posting in a group forum from 5303 and 5305.

6. Accelerated ADL Option Reflection:

The Accelerated ADL option was embraced, and I effectively combined reflections from both courses. This reflection delved into the intersection of change leadership and educational technology, highlighting the synergies and impacts of these disciplines on my learning journey.

Supporting Contributions:

1. Leadership Responsibility in Base Group and Course:

I assumed leadership responsibilities within my discussion groups, by fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Additionally, my active participation in broader course activities contributed to a constructive and supportive learning atmosphere.

2. Active Participation in ALL Activities:

Beyond mandatory activities, I proactively engaged in optional discussions, and collaborative initiatives. This extended participation enriched my own learning experience and contributed positively to the overall dynamics of the learning community.

3. Active Contributions in Course Forums:

Regular and substantive contributions were made in course forums, where I shared insights, posed thoughtful questions, and responded constructively to peers. These interactions were not only timely but also reflected depth of thinking and a commitment to meaningful dialogue.

4. Timely and Well-Researched Postings:

All forum postings were timely, allowing for meaningful interactions. Moreover, each contribution was well-researched, supported by credible sources, and cited appropriately. This demonstrated a commitment to academic rigor and enhanced the quality of discussions within the community.

In summary, my score of 85 reflects a level of engagement and contribution throughout both courses. While meeting expectations, there is room for additional depth and expansion of contributions in certain areas such as discussion post being made in a timely fashion. By positing promptly, my peers are able to effectively respond and give constructive feedback. This score recognizes a solid performance with opportunities for further enhancement in reflective practices and collaborative endeavors.
